At Safarly we believe privacy is a fundamental right. The app is designed to work without an account and without collecting your personal data on our servers. This page explains exactly what happens to your data.

1. Data that stays on your device

Your searches, budget, expenses, saved trips, and preferences (language and theme) are stored only locally on your device. Safarly has no server that stores this data, and we cannot access it. Deleting the app permanently removes it from your device.

2. Fetching flight prices

To show flight price estimates, the app sends only your search parameters (origin, destination, dates) to a price service through a secure endpoint. This does not include your name or any information that identifies you.

3. Booking and affiliate links

Safarly is a comparison tool that opens third-party booking sites (airlines, hotels, car rentals, activities). Some links are affiliate links through which we may earn a commission from the provider at no extra cost to you. When you open a link, the provider may set cookies in your browser to complete the booking and attribute the referral. These sites are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

4. When you contact us

When you use the "Send feedback" feature or email our support, your mail app opens to send us your message. The message may — at your choice — include technical information that helps us resolve the issue (app version, platform, and your latest search parameters) and any images you voluntarily attach. We use this only to respond to you and improve the app.

5. What we do not do

• We do not require an account or a password.
• We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
• We do not show ads based on tracking your behavior in the app.
• We do not collect your geographic location.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from them.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any update will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date above.
